Hybrid Racing presents a no-cut solution to a common challenge in K-Series swaps: the need to mount the OEM plastic RSX shifter. The Bolt-in Short Shifter is designed to retain the stock center console in EF, EG, EK, and DC models, simplifying K-swaps for the DIY enthusiast.

Developed over years of refinement, the first-ever Bolt-in K-swap shifter was introduced by Hybrid Racing in 2008. Today, it represents the pinnacle of this innovative design, evolved through thousands of shifts.

This user-friendly shifter is easy to install, requiring only two small holes to be drilled for fitting it with the factory center console. Its adjustability is a key feature, allowing up to 2 inches of vertical knob adjustment and 360-degree rotation using an aluminum offset block. The shifter also offers two settings for both front/back throw (75% and 40% of stock throw) and left/right throw, catering to the driver's personal preferences and enhancing the driving experience.

Advanced Shifter Cables

Hybrid Racing's shifter cables are specifically designed to connect the Z3 Shifter to Honda/Acura K24A2/A4/A8 transmissions. These cables surpass OEM dimensions, offering a firmer, tighter feel with solid rod ends, a permanently lubricated core, and aluminum end links. This design provides enhanced feedback and a more connected feeling with the transmission.

With a maximum bend radius of 5” and the ability to withstand heat up to 225°F, these cables are both easy to route and durable. They feature several upgrades over OEM parts, including stainless steel swivel support tubes and CNC machined 6061 aluminum rod ends and mounting bushings.

Gone are the days of mixing and matching OEM parts for accurate gear selection. The cables conveniently utilize the factory K24A2/A4/A8 cable mounting bracket, simplifying the installation process. The kit includes two shifter cables and all necessary hardware for attaching the cables to the transmission bracket.
