This material choice ensures smooth operation while withstanding high temperatures. The lower section, directly connected to the transmission shift rods and forks, presented a unique challenge. Through extensive testing, a novel solution was developed using diverse materials to dampen noise and vibrations, leading to the proprietary VDC lower cup. This enhancement significantly improves the shifter's feel while minimizing NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) transmission into the cabin.
